PTSD symptoms can include:

  • Depression or anxiety
  • Dissociative mental experiences
  • Inability to function in daily life
  • Panic or overreaction to events
  • Insomnia
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Involuntary thoughts about a traumatic event

Treatment modalities for PTSD

Headwaters CBR staff members collaborate with each client’s multidisciplinary treatment team to review a client’s progress and identify any further psychological issues that may emerge during treatment. Our therapists select evidence-based modalities specific to our clienteles’ unique needs. Additionally, we incorporate holistic stress and anxiety management tools such as biofeedback and breathing techniques, along with neurotherapy, mindfulness training, and sleep program protocols.
